Pico Bright
Picosecond Pigmentation Treatment
Starting at $75
Target the spots. Reveal brighter-looking skin.
Pico Bright is a targeted picosecond laser treatment designed to improve the appearance of unwanted pigmentation and create a clearer, more even-looking complexion.
Using ultra-short pulses of laser energy, the picosecond laser targets concentrated pigment within the skin, breaking it into smaller particles that can gradually be cleared through the body's natural processes.
Depending on the type, depth and color of the pigmentation being treated, your practitioner will customize the treatment approach to your individual skin and concerns.
Because not every brown spot is the same—and not every brown spot should be lasered.
Target. Brighten. Reveal.

Not Every Dark Spot Is the Same
Pigmentation can have many different causes and occur at different depths within the skin.
Before treatment, your practitioner will evaluate the appearance and characteristics of the pigmentation, your skin type, tanning history and relevant medical and skin history.
Some pigmentation may be appropriate for picosecond laser treatment, while other lesions or conditions may require evaluation by a dermatologist or other medical provider before cosmetic treatment.
We don't treat what we haven't appropriately assessed.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Treatment needs vary according to the type, depth and extent of pigmentation being addressed.
Some superficial pigmentation may respond within a small number of treatments, while other concerns require a series.
Your practitioner will evaluate your response before recommending additional treatment.
What to Expect After Treatment
Depending on the pigmentation treated and treatment parameters, the area may temporarily appear:
- Red
- Warm
- Slightly swollen
- Darker than before treatment
- Dry or crusted as the area heals
Some treated pigmentation may initially darken before gradually lightening.
Do not pick, scratch or intentionally remove crusting or flaking skin.
Sun protection following pigmentation treatment is especially important.

Protect Your Results
Pigmentation and sunlight have a complicated relationship.
Daily broad-spectrum sun protection and minimizing unnecessary UV exposure are important both before and after treatment.
Even beautifully treated pigmentation can return or new pigmentation can develop with continued UV exposure.
